General Information Document Type: Synopsis Posted Date: 6 May 2019 Classification Code: Z2AA - Repair or Alteration of Office Buildings NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial & Institutional Building Construction Subject/Title: Repair B262 Innovation Lab Proposed Solicitation No: FA449719RA025 Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business Set-Aside Contracting Office Address Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command 436 CONS/PKA 639 Atlantic Street Dover AFB DE 19902-5639 Description The Contractor shall provide all design, labor, materials, tools, and equipment to renovate the 1st floor of building 262 (B262) as necessary to comply with specified design standards. The work shall consist of, but is not limited to, architectural/structural, plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) modifications. Alterations to the fire protection and communication systems are not anticipated. The performance period for this project will be 180 days from notice to proceed (NTP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 million dollars. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 21 May 2019 with an approximate response date of 22 June 2019. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000 IAW FAR 36.204 The solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is issued on a restricted basis to ONLY small business firms. All offers will be evaluated utilizing the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) selection process in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. All complete offers will be considered by the agency. All firms must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive an award. Registration can be accomplished at https://www.sam.gov This solicitation will result in one firm-fixed price contract. The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site at https://www.fbo.gov The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the FedBizOpps website to: Vendors / Citizens - Find Opportunities, then search the solicitation number FA449719RA025.
