The 436th Contracting Squadron (436 CONS) is seeking information from Small Business firms (nationwide) that have an interest and capability to submit as a prime contractor, a proposal for the following description: Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, products, and services necessary to install security equipment that meets open stroage security standards at Dover Air Force Base, DE. This will encompass multiple rooms in a two story complex. All electrical work will comply with the 2017 National Electric Code and all security systems will need to be approved by the base Security Forces squadron and Civil Engineering squadron. Additionally, training for the system operation will need to be provided to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only and will be used to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this RFI. Responses will not be considered as quotes, nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. Contact with Government personnel other than those specified in this RFI by potential offerors or their employees regarding this project is prohibited. This FedBizOps notice is an announcement seeking market information on vendors capable of providing the product as described herein. For the purpose of this RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621, Security Systems Services. At a minimum we are requesting that all interested and qualified firms respond to this RFI via email with a capability statement that includes the following information: (1) Company Cage Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address; (2) Any small business status (8(a), HUB-Zone, Veteran-owned, Women-owned, etc.); (3) Indicate which NAICS code your company usually uses to provide the requirements described above. Please provide rationale if your answer is different from NAICS 561621.
