Description: 765 ABS/CONF/PKA is currently seeking sources and industry input for a requirement of a secondary crash net system for 65 ABS/OSAA. The system must be compatible with the current dark fiber infrastructure at Lajes Field. The product description attached shows the Alert III Emergency Conference System manufactured by Forum Communications International and provides the part numbers of each item of the requirement. We request that any interested vendors of secondary crash net systems/emergency conference systems of different manufacturers can provide enough information to reflect the characteristics and level of quality that will satisfy the Government’s need. Be sure to clearly identify the item by brand name, manufacturer, make or model number and include descriptive literature so that the ability to meet the salient physical, functional and performance characteristics of the required items may be evaluated as equal to or better than what is provided on the product description attachment. This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Quote, nor does it restrict 765 ABS/CONF/PKA to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by 765 ABS/CONF/PKA to determine the capability of potential sources. For the future acquisition of these items, vendors should be aware that only offerors which have active registration in the federal government’s vendor database, System for Award Management (SAM.gov) will be considered.
