The purpose of the BPA is to transport the Government employees to and from work in accordance with the Work Regulation of 1995, Article 50: Transportation, therefore the 65th ABG will have to source transportation for all employees who do not have a mutual agreement to receive a cash reimbursement in lieu of round-trip transportation. Due to this specification the need of a Commercial Transportation Service BPA has been in place to meet the regulation. This is a Firm Fixed Price commercial BPA, the Statement of Work (SOW - Attachment 1) describes the work requirement and the routes of where the employee lives to have a commercial transportation to and from work. This BPA, contract action/tool will provide Lajes Field with a continuity of service.
