This Sources Sought Notice serves as a market research tool and is being used for planning purposes to determine availability of sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. The intent of this Sources Sought is to identify sources for NAVAID-GATR-CHANNEL BANK Maintenance and Support Services to be performed at Lajes Field Air Base, AZORES, PORTUGAL. The 765 ABS/CONF/PKA is conducting market research to determine potential sources having the skills, capabilities and experience necessary to perform the described work. No award will be made from this Sources Sought. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this notice. Services Description: Non-Personal Service: The contract shall provide maintenance and support services on all NAVAID/GATR Channel Bank equipment listed in Appendix A of attached Performance Work Statement. The Channel Bank equipment, equipment shall be kept in manufacturing operating condition and shall be maintained in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Altice Empresas (MEO) maintenance specifications and schedules. The North American Standard Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this acquisition is 811213 Communication equipment repair and maintenance services and the Product Service Code J059 Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment – Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components. This Sources Sought Notice serves as a market research tool and is being used for planning purposes to determine availability of sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. No award will be made from this Sources Sought. General Information: This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. The Government is seeking industry’s input to determine the availability of qualified sources with the technical capability to fulfill the requirement described above. No contract awards will be made from this notice and no solicitation is available on beta.SAM.gov at this time. In order to develop a sound acquisition strategy, early industry participation is highly encouraged; however, participation in this effort is strictly voluntary. All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the interested party’s expense. The Government will not reimburse costs and will not be liable for any costs associated with responses to this procurement notice. Respondents will not be notified of the responses to this notice. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
