The 765th ABS/CONF/PKA at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation, FA448620Q0008, as a Request for Quote (RFQ) prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, & FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a brand name or equal solicitation for SAMSUNG air conditioning units, to include panels, delivery directly to Lajes Air Field and incidental installation of all items. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 33415 – AIR CONDITIONING, UNIT MANUFACTURING. Complete specifications of each item required are attached to this solicitation as Product Description. 2. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract, IAW FAR 16.202. This solicitation is intended to result in a single award. Please be advised that this RFQ in no manner obligates the Government regarding award of a contract that results from the issuance of this solicitation. Vendors must have an active www.SAM.gov registration at the time of award to be considered. 3. To ensure timely and equitable evaluation of the quote, interested vendors must follow the instructions contained herein. Quotes must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this solicitation. Vendors are required to meet all solicitation requirements, including terms and conditions, representations and certifications, and technical requirements, in addition to those identified as evaluation factors. Failure to meet a requirement may result in a quote being ineligible for award. Specific instructions can be found as ADDENDUM TO FAR CLAUSE 52.212-1, INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS -COMMERCIAL ITEMS (MAR 2020), within the attached solicitation document. 4.
