The 87th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) Fuels Flight provides fueling equipment and manpower capabilities. One of those requirements is to provide the ability to take jet turbine fuel and convert it to military aircraft grade fuel, such as JP8. This fluid powered additive injector cart is designed to be portable/towable and inject 1 or more fuel additives into jet fuel when required at foreign commercial airports and austere locations that are supplied with jet turbine fuel that is not JP8. The fluid powered additive injector cart will allow us to meet deployment tasking requests from combatant commanders. This requirement is for a Hammond's Model AC800-2L-1P7-1P7 Fluid Powered Additive Injection Cart. Please see attached Statement of Work (SOW) for more information.
