This is a Combined Synopsis and Solicitation for Joint Base MDL, NJ for the purchase of a Trailer and Cover System for B-1 Engine for the USAF 311th Recruiting Squadron INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS - Addendum to FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items 1. This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA4484-23-Q-0062 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All attachments pertaining to RFQ FA4484-23-Q-0062 are incorporated. 100% Total Small Business Set- Aside NAICS Code: 336212 Size Standard: 1,250 employees 2. The purpose of this Request for Quote (RFQ) is to procure a suitable trailer and cover system to transport, store, and display a permanently mounted jet engine weighing 6800lbs, measuring 17’1” x 4’3 x 8’1” for the USAF 311th RCS in accordance with (IAW) the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). Delivery to Canonsburg PA, 15317 The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price order. The expected delivery of this requirement 30-60 days from date of award. 3. See the Basis for Award for additional information and evaluation criteria. 5. Contractors must have an active registration in System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to be awarded a Department of Defense (DoD) contract. You must include all Representations and Certifications with your quote or reflect they’re completed in SAM. 7. Contractor offers should be submitted via EMAIL to the Contract Specialist, Christina Vargas at christina.vargas.1@us.af.mil and the Contracting Officer, Edward Sherwood at Edward.sherwood@us.af.mil and shall contain the following information: A. Technical: Technical approach must meet or exceed the requirements of the SOW and shall be no longer than 5 pages. B. Price/Admin: a. Unit pricing for all Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs). A total price should also be included. Prices shall not extend past the second decimal point for unit and extended amounts. The proposed price shall include all direct costs and other directs costs, G&A, and profit to fulfill the contractual requirements. b. CAGE Code, DUNS Number, and business-size standard under the applicable NAICS of 336212. c. Quotes are due no later than 4:00pm EST 20 SEPT 2023 8. This requirement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 336212 with a business size standard of 1,250 employees. 9. All offers shall remain valid for 90 calendar days.
