The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to repair and maintain the continuous and safe operation of the Vertical Lifting Fabric Hangar Doors (VLFHD) located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The scope of performance includes, but is not limited to: the preventative maintenance, inspection / testing, repair, and certification of vertical lifting fabric hangar doors listed in Appendix A of the attached Performance Work Statement in accordance with (IAW) all local, state, federal laws / regulations, manufacturer’s requirements, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) 08 34 16.20, in a manner that shall ensure continuous and safe operation. The contractor shall maintain records of any preventative maintenance, inspection / testing, repair, and certification conducted on vertical lifting fabric hangar doors. This is a commercial acquisition. This notice is a request for proposal and is issued as a 100% small business set-aside under the Standard Industrial Classification code 7699, NAICS code 811310 and the related small business size standard of $8 million. The contract will be a requirements contract. The proposed performance period is a base period from 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2021 and four (4) one year options. A preproposal conference and site visit are scheduled for 21 August 2020 at 1:00 PM Eastern Time. If you are planning to attend the site visit and in order to ensure access to JB MDL, coordination with the 87th Contracting Squadron (87 CONS) is mandatory not later than 18 August 2020. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to conduct business with the Department of Defense (DOD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in SAM may result in the delay of award of contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in SAM at the time of award. The offer due date is stated in the solicitation. Paper copies will not be made available.
