The 87th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for B5634 HVAC Upgrade at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. The proposed contract is a firm fixed price with a not to exceed Period of Performance of 180 Calendar Days. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary for HVAC upgrade. The scope of this project is to replace the existing conventional chiller and boiler system with fan coil units as the primary heating and cooling system. Contractors will replace the existing system and install an operation ductless variable refrigerant flow system. This acquisition is being solicited as a total HUBZone Small Business Set Aside. Telephone or verbal requests for the Request for Proposal (RFP) or questions will not be accepted or considered. The RFP is paperless and released via the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov/. The RFP may contain files in PDF formats. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in SAM may result in the delay of award or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in SAM at the time of award. A site visit will be held on 18 June 2019 at 0900 EST at B2402 Vandenberg Ave, McGuire Air Force Base, NJ.
