This is a synopsis notice for commercial services as prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The 87th Contracting Squadron intends to extend contract services on a sole source basis with Cantu Services, Inc. for full food service, Dix annex, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ utilizing FAR 52.217-8. This is not intended to solicit proposals, and contractors will not be compensated for any costs incurred as a result. This is a sole source acquisition pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of contract action shall be submitted to Michael Petty via email at michael.petty.5@us.af.mil no later than 1:00 PM on 7 Apr 20. This is a non-personnel services contract to provide, unless stipulated as government furnished, all personnel, supervision, and any items and services necessary to provide full food service to the seven dining facilities on Dix annex, JB MDL. Contractor tasks include but not limited to dining facility management, menu planning, food preparation, serving and replenishing food, order, receipt and storage of subsistence items, cleaning of the dining facilities, headcount, cashier duties, remote food service, inventories of subsistence, grounds maintenance of government property, and quality control.
