NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR part 10, Market Research and FAR part 19, Small Business Programs. This is for planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this Source Sought Notice is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose, and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response. 1. INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for the Compressor Maintenance contract at Little Rock Air Force Base (LRAFB). 2. DESCRIPTION: LRAFB seeks sources to provide manufacturer-certified technicians. The contractor shall be certified on Atlas-Copco variable speed screw compressors, and shall be certified on reciprocating air compressors from at least one of the following manufacturers: Ingersoll Rand, Champion, or Speedaire. Contractor shall provide all parts, material, tools, equipment, and transportation required to perform all maintenance and repairs on all air compressors, air dryers, breathing air filtration, in-line filtration systems, and volume tanks automatic air drains located at buildings 228, 232, 233, 242, 245, 246, 250, 254, 256, 268, 276, 280, 282, 344 and 466. Equipment make, model, and serial numbers are listed on Appendix A. The contractor shall accomplish all services to meet manufacturer recommended service specifications and the requirements of this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contractor shall conduct user training on equipment at each facility (coordinated with the MXS compressor facility manager) and provide a laminated “User Operation Checklist” on each piece of equipment. The contractor shall protect all Government property against damage and work shall be in compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations, codes and license requirements, including OSHA/Safety regulations. LRAFB anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this effort. The effort is expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. NAICS code is anticipated to be 811310, size standard $11,000,000.00. Statement of Capabilities are limited to 5 pages, and should demonstrate capability to provide compressor maintenance services for the manufactured compressors mentioned above.
