Any information submitted by respondents to this Source Sought Notice is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response. INTRODUCTION: The contractor shall provide all required products. The contractor shall provide the following: X-Ray Checkpoint Scanner – XIS-7858DVS X-ray screening system with Dual 180 kV X-ray generator Includes Screener Assist Software, TIP, DA, and 1-year silver warranty on parts 1.0 Meter entry roller tables 2.0 Meter exit roller tables INSTALLATION of Equipment and Operation training for up to 8 trainees (Same Visit) EQUIPMENT LRAFB anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this effort. The effort is expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. NAICS code is anticipated to be 334517, size standard 1,200 Employees. INSTRUCTIONS: All businesses capable of providing an X-Ray Machine as described in the attached spec sheet, are invited to respond electronically. Responses shall include company name, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, indicate business size (small business, small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone) using NAICS 334517, size standard 1,200 Employees, and indicate any current government contract vehicles you are currently apart of. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. In the event Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it will be advertised as unrestricted. Additionally, responses shall include the following: A positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor. A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision. Statement of Capabilities are limited to 5 pages and should demonstrate capability to provide the required X-Ray Machine.
