The contractor shall install durable, high impact, 3/4'' rubber flooring, with a surface which will not separate. The flooring must provide a foundation which will absorb shock, diminish barbell bounce, and enable a safe training environment. The dimensions of the flooring to be installed is 121'9'' by 28'7'' and 73'1'' by 5'7'' (reference blueprint). Note: A center strip (73’1’’ by 18’7’’) between the two previously described areas will later be occupied by turf; however, this area will be prepped for later turf installment. Before installment, the contractor will ensure the existing concrete floor is level and prepared for the rubber flooring to be properly installed.
