Command Professional Edition (CPE) licenses for the base period of 16 Sep 20-15 Sep 21 with two optional periods. CPE is the pro-oriented superset of Command: Modern Air/ Naval Operations, the award-winning wargame created by WarfareSims.com. Boasting “by default” its powerful, scalable simulation engine, flexible and customizable user interface and breathtaking open-source database. CPE can be tailored to meet the mission partner's wargaming, training, simulation & analysis needs. CPE gives AMC ) the ability to study war fighting scenarios as no other model can. The AF can study the affects of mobility and all logistic and logistical aspects of warfare. No other model combines the two together. If desired, the AF can import STORM air campaign model and AMP mobility model runs into COMMAND PE and study all aspects of how air and sealift as well as air refueling allow the successful prosecution of war fighting scenarios used for programmatic analysis. The second reason for using COMMAND PE is we have access to the data base. The AF can modify systems or place classified values or build future systems and see how CONOPS support or disprove theories. The AF will also have the ability to work with other Department of Defense users to enable mobility missions completely modeled in their war fights. Finally, the AF will be able to work closer with AFRL and industry to model future mobility platforms and save time by getting rid of what doesn’t work. With the new acquisition rules, this is a very much needed capability. Without this capability, the AF would not be able to successfully support POM requirements and would have to allow agencies other than AMC to model mobility missions in war fighting scenarios.
