This CSO seeks innovative, commercial technologies that propose new solutions or potential new capabilities that provide a Lithium-Ion fire containment/elimination solution to protect passengers, crew, and aircraft from the hazards associated with a Lithium-ion battery fire, i.e. smoke/fumes, potential thermal runaway, and possible resultant explosion and to enable the aircrew to successfully land the aircraft.
