THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY This Sources Sought is to determine the availability of businesses to include small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms, Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and Woman Owned Small Businesses) to provide the required products. This does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought. All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if issued. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 60th Security Forces Squadron (60 SFS/S-5) requires two (2) handheld explosive trace detection (ETD) devices to enhance base security and ensure compliance with DAFI 31-101, Base Defense Operations, dated 10 September 2024, paragraph 4.6.4., regarding Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVI) access points. These ETD devices will supplement existing K-9 explosive detection capabilities and provide a critical layer of defense against explosive threats. Rapid and accurate screening of commercial, delivery, and contract vehicles entering the installation is paramount to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
