This announcement does not constitute a request for proposal (RFP). Requirement Description The 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, California has a requirement for a fully automated Hematology System with reagents at a Firm Fixed Price that can perform all its necessary hematology testing assays. The Laboratory requires a solution for complete blood count (CBC) testing, body fluid testing, a slide maker/stainer, and a slide reader in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Testing must be provided in a Cost Per Reportable billing format. This requirement is being procured under NAICS Code 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing and Classified under Product Service Code (PSC) 6640 - Laboratory Equipment and Supplies. The solicitation is expected as a request for proposal (RFP) issued for Unrestricted Full and Open competition. The period of performance is as follows: Base year and four (4), (12 month) option periods. Projected start of performance is approximately 1 July 2024. It is incumbent upon interested Contractors to periodically review the system for award management (SAM) SAM.gov in order to obtain the solicitation and any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain the solicitation/amendments and to failure to respond to them prior to closing date and time of the solicitation may render the proposal non-responsive. All prospective offerors must be registered in SAM to do business with the government. The solicitation will be posted electronically on or about 1 May 2024 to SAM.gov. The due date for proposals will be posted in the soliciation. The response date for this pre-solicitation synopsis is for archive purposes only and is NOT the date which offers are due under the future RFP Solicitation FA4427R0021.
