Requirement for approximately 55 swine (Domestic & Yucatan) between the sizes of 0-70 kg per fiscal year to Travis AFB. Vendor requirements: Vendor must be closed colony licensed by USDA as referenced by Animal Welfare Act and Animal Welfare Regulations (usda.gov) Provide swine (male or female) of breed, weight, and number specified per order and delivery Provide swine that are free of overt signs of disease or malformation, to include, pneumonia, diarrhea, and/or internal and external parasites Swine must be vaccinated against common swine pathogens Vendor must provide vaccination history/record upon delivery Swine will not be interbred or deformed Vendor will transport swine in an environment controlled transportation that does not jeopardize the animals temperament Travel time for delivery will not exceed 12hrs If swine is found to have any abnormalities/disease vendor will provide replacement of infected swine within 3 days.
