The 60 LRS Vehicle Management Flight requires a factory authorized contractor/supplier to purchase a brand-new Main Water pump and gearbox assembly for a Kovatch Mobile Equipment (KME) Rapid Intervention Vehicle (RIV) P-34 Firetruck. The contractor shall provide a brand-new Firefighting Water Pump and Gear Box assembly from the original parts manufacturer (Hale Pumps). This pump was manufactured for the sole application on the Air Force’s (P-34) RIV truck only. Pump and gear box assembly part number: HAL Part # 501-00024-010-50.
