The 660 AMXS has a requirement for one (1) laser engraver/cutter to support the new KC46 mission. This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement. The contractor shall provide an Epilogue Fusion Pro 48 Laser Engraver and Cutter or Equal under a Firm Fixed Priced contract in accordance with (IAW) attached Statement of Need (SON). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Additionally, the Government will utilize simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) with solicitation number FA442724Q0134. A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05 effective 22 May 2024, Defense Acquisition Circular 05/30/2024 effective 30 May 2024, and Department of the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Circular 2024-0612 effective 12 June 2024. Offeror shall include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with the terms, conditions, and provisions included in the solicitation. Quotes shall also contain all other documentation specified herein. The government reserves the right to evaluate the quotes and award without interchanges. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) Price. The quoted price will be determined by the total price provided in the pricing schedule. (ii) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement in accordance with the Statement of Need. The vendor shall provide a detailed description and specification of the items included in the quote. The information submitted must be sufficient for the Government to assess the technical capability of these items to fulfill the same or similar end results as the solicited specifications. All prices will be determined by multiplying the quantities by the proposed unit price for all CLIN to confirm the extended amount or the total amount. The Government will evaluate quotations using the comparative evaluation process outlined in FAR 13.106-2 (b) (3), where quotations will be compared to one another to determine which provides the best benefit to the Government. The Government reserves the right to consider a quotation other than the lowest price that provides additional benefit(s). Quotations may exceed minimum requirements of the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to select a quotation that provides benefit to the Government that exceeds the minimum requirements of the solicitation but is not required to do so.
