AMENDMENT 1 The purpose of this Amendment is to add the response to the contractor's question. See the Attachment "Question & Responses" The 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis Air Force Base intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for five Ultrasonic Probe Kits for the 60th Maintenance Group. The contractor shall meet all the requirements in the Statement of Need (SON). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Additionally, the Government will utilize simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) with solicitation number FA442723Q0112. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 2024-02 effective 22 January 2024, Defense Federal Acquisition Circular 202422, effective 22 January 2024, and Air Force Acquisition Circular2023-0707 effective 7 July 2023. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 334519 – Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, Small Business Size Standard is 600 employees.
