The body of this description is updated along with a new Statement of Need and Combined Synopsis Solicitation document. ??UPDATED?? This requirement is Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Businesses IAW FAR 19.502-1(2) 60 LRS/LGRF has a requirement for 30 D-3 single point nozzles which is the latest model of single point fuel nozzles. D-3 differs from the previous D-1 and D-2 nozzles as it has a swivel on the throat to allow it to adjust to the location of the SPR. Currently on our refuelers we have either D-1 or D-2 this limits our capability to 44% as we are only able to utilize refueling unites with nozzles specific to the aircraft. With the employment of D-3 nozzles we would be able to utilize 100% of our fleet for every aircraft as D-3 can act as both D-1 and D-2 nozzles. Description: The contractor will provide 30 single point nozzles and D-3 short swivel attachment as well as 2 rebuild kits. The rebuild kits include 1 GF rebuild kit, 1 D-3 rebuild Kit. Single Point D-3 Nozzles must be either CLA-VAL or JC Carter brand.
