Please see the attached solicitation document and additional attachments for all details in regards to the requirement. A site visit is scheduled to start at 0900 on August 23, 2023, to start looking at every location listed in the SOWs. Additionally, the 24th and 25th of August are also being reserved to continue the site visit if not all locations are seen. In order to get base access and attend the site visit, please contact the Contracting Specialist, Lt. Jacob Andrews-Pestana, at jacob.andrews-pestana.1@us.af.mil, and the Contracting Officer, Jennifer Munoz, at jennifer.munoz.7@us.af.mil. You must contact the Contracting Specialist and Contracting Officer by close of business on August 21st to ensure the proper accommodations are made. If you do not contact these individuals by this date and time, you will not be given access to the base or allowed on the site visit. Depending on the size of the group that shows interest in attending the site visit, our office may coordinate a van or bus to transport all individuals to each site

(1) Describe the proposed work in sufficient detail to disclose the nature and volume of work (in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range) (see 36.204); The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, supervision, and equipment to complete painting, drywall work, signage, and striping for 60 buildings (to include interior and exterior of buildings, parking spaces, and hangars) and a convert 3 existing tennis courts into pickle ball courts.The approxamite square footage of work to be completed is 120,000 SqFt. (More exact details shall be provided during the solicitation phase.) The magnitude of the project is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. (2) State the location of the work; 61 buildings on Travis Air Force Base, California (3) Include tentative dates for issuing invitations, opening bids, and completing contract performance; The solicitation notice is tentatively schedule to be posted on 7 Aug 2023, the response due date is tentativelly schedule for 6 September 2023, and contract performance does not have an intended completion date at this time. (4) State where plans will be available for inspection without charge; Any applicable drawings shall be made available during the solicitation phase. (5) Specify a date by which requests for the invitation for bids should be submitted; There shall not be invitation for bid, the intended solicitation format is a Request for Proposal. (6) State whether award is restricted to small businesses; This related solicitation is current planned to be restricted to companies that are a HubZone Small Business Set-Aside. (7) Specify any amount to be charged for solicitation documents: No amount shall be charged for solicitation documents.
