The 60th Contracting Squadron (60 CONS) at Travis AFB, CA is seeking potential sources to provide two (2) Microaire Power Assisted Liposuction (PAL) Handpieces, or equivalent, to perform liposuction to harvest fat for grafting, surgical reconstruction after a total mastectomy, and surgical scar revision. The hanpieces must be compatible with the Microaire Power Assisted Liposuction System. With a weight of 1.1lb (0.5 kg) and dimensions of 48” x 1” x 1.5” (20.3 x 2.5 x 3.8 cm). The Med Group is also requesting a 1-year warranty and 5 years of free loaner handpieces in the event that one purchased needs to be sent in for repairs. THIS REQUEST FOR INFORAMTION IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP), or promise to use a future RFQ or a RFP. This Request for Information (RFI) is to determine the availability of businesses to include small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required products and/or services. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the Air Force is not currently seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if issued.
