Contractor shall be responsible for removal of existing materials, i.e. old carpet removed, old floor glue, old stair treads, risers, rubber landing tiles removed from stairs, and remove old cove base... The contractor shall install approximately 365 SF of luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) measuring 12” x 12”, equal or better. The tiles shall be of a non-slip material. Color to be selected upon award of the project. The contractor shall use adhesive, floor leveling compound, and underlayment as required. The tiles shall be of a non-slip material. Color to be selected upon award of the project. These tiles will have an additional 10% in replacement stock as specified on UFGS 09 68 00. The contractor shall furnish and install approximately 84 LF of 4” rubber cove base, colors to be selected upon award. The contractor shall furnish and install approximately 6 LF of transition strips, colors to be selected upon award. VIT lift shall be used on all furniture, cubicles, and any other heavy items in the construction area when applicable. All electronics and personal items will be unplugged and removed by the customer before the project starts.
