The 60th Contracting Squadron has received a requirement to establish a contract to provide tools and tool boxes for the 821 CRSS. Three complete tool boxes with tools and cut out forms in each section of the tool boxes is required per the specifications of the requirement. The contractor shall provide three complete tool boxes with the specifications listed in the Tool Box List. The contractor’s quote shall include all manufacturing, shipping, freight, and delivery costs of the tool boxes to the CRSS warehouse. The foam cut-outs for the tools in the drawers will be determined after the contract has been awarded. We will communicate as needed with the contractor’s CAD team to finalize the design with regards to accountable requirements. Although they do not fall under AFI 21-101, they are still meeting the accountable requirement for tool control. The tool drawer layouts are projected to be the most systematic and optimized design for our needs utilizing the contractor’s design software. NOTE*** As of 13 August 2020, all contractors shall complete and sign the document attached Representations & FAR 52.204-25. Failure to fill out, sign and submit with quote may result in a technically unacceptable determination.
