The 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis AFB, CA intends to award a single, firm fixed price contract for the Vertical Transportation Equipment Service. This full maintenance contract signifies a VTE service provider will take total service responsibility for the equipment identified in the contract. The monthly fixed price will include all inspections, maintenance, repairs, replacements, and routine and emergency service calls. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This acquisition will be done in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The contractor will provide all management, tools, supplies, parts and labor necessary to maintain, repair, and inspect the real property vertical transportation equipment (VTE) at Travis AFB, CA in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation. Documents submitted in response to this solicitation must be fully responsive to be eligible for an award and consistent with the following Requirements set forth in "ADDENDUM TO 52.212-1 PROPOSAL PREPARATION INSTRUCTION" of the solicitation, (Contract Line Items Numbers (CLINs) and Performance Work Statement, and government standards and regulations pertaining to the PWS. This notice does not obligate the Government to award to a contractor, nor does it obligate the Government to pay and/or reimburse respondents and/or their associates for any costs incurred to submit the requested information/proposal. Responses to this notice and the RFP will not be returned. IAW FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract All questions regarding this solicitation shall be received no later than 12 Jan 2019.
