This is a pre - solicitation notice to give industry early notification of a solicitation that will be posted after 20 April 2020. The scope of this project is to provide both the design and construction of a relocatable air supported dome for the North Gate track on Travis AFB. The Dome is: 15,176 square meters, 270 feet wide x 605 feet long and 86 feet high. The 60th Contracting Squadron will be interested in any form of small business that is interested in performing the project. This requirement consists of procuring a 15,176 square meter air supported dome and all associated construction pertaining to the foundation and additional support systems for the official .25 mile track.. This acquisition will provide Travis AFB a structure compatible with applicable DoD, Air Force, and base design standards. The facility must also be able to withstand seismic effects as prescribed in applicable codes and design standards. Dome structures shall conform the minimum design standards for the: American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 55-16, ASI-77 American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), Building Officials and Code Administrator (BOCA), International Building Code (IBC), Construction Safety Association (ASC) and for the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 701 California State Fire Marshall.
