Travis AFB intends to procure the service for a geological assessment of Area F for underground storage tank. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation and all necessary items to perform the following tasks: 1. Assess the extent of soil contamination and ground water contamination at the site where JP-8 spilled out of a Tank 1768 vent. 2. Provide a draft technical report detailing the field investigation with tabulated data and maps/figures showing sampling locations and related data. 3. Prepare a site assessment and/or work plan for remediation or disposal pursuant to Tri-Regional Recommendations for Initial Evaluation and Investigation of Underground Tanks. 4. Prepare technical reports and plans that contain engineering, geology, and/or geophysical information. Complete details of the service required and the Statement of Work (SOW) are included in the request for proposal (RFP). THIS REQUISITION IS A HUBZONE SET ASIDE. A site visit is scheduled for 21 April 2021 at 10:00AM, PST. All individuals attending the site visit must RSVP with SrA Ronald Aquino at ronald_wendell.aquino@us.af.mil no later than 20 April 2021 at 10:00AM, PST. Requests made after this date and time shall not be accepted. Attendees must provide full name and date of birth if they are to receive base access passes which will be picked up at the base Visitors Center the morning of the site visit. No more than two (2) individuals per compoany shall be allowed on the site visit. All site visit attendees MUST comply with the Real ID Act and Covid-19 protocols required all individuals to wear a mask/ face covering. Individuals that do not comply with the Real ID Act or Covid-19 protocols shall not be authorized on base.
