The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for acquisition of a swimming pool slide consisting of 2 flumes, attached support structure and stairs for use at Altus AFB, Oklahoma. This request is for the EQUIPMENT ONLY. The equipment will become “Government Furnished Equipment” to be installed at a later date. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. A site visit is scheduled for 20 June 2023 at 10:00 AM CST. Attendees must respond no later than 16 June 2023 at 4:00 PM CST to attend the site visit. Please see Attachment 5 - Site Visit Instructions for full details. This acquisition will fall under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339920. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) prior to submission of quotes. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD SAM prior to submission of proposal will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
