This project involves removing and replacing 136 concrete pavement panels at a runway intersection on Joint Base Charleston-Air Base. The work must be performed overnight, specifically during a 6–8 hour window between approximately 2300 and 0700, Thursday through Monday. It requires specialized equipment for sawing, removal, and placing a minimum of 50 cubic yards of fast-setting concrete that can cure for aircraft traffic in 3–4 hours. Ancillary work includes milling asphalt shoulders and installing new lighting and markings. The runway must be reopened for daily aircraft traffic each morning.
