This opportunity involves construction contract administration and multi-discipline work on a secure runway, including the removal and replacement of 136 concrete pavement panels. Work must be performed between 2300-0700 hours, Thursday through Monday, with the runway intersection reopened for aircraft traffic each morning. The project requires specialized equipment, such as volumetric mixers, to place fast-setting concrete capable of handling aircraft traffic after a 3-4 hour cure period. Ancillary work includes asphalt shoulder milling and overlay, new runway lighting and markings, pavement grinding, and grooving. The contractor must provide a workforce capable of gaining clearance onto a secure flightline.
