The CAMWorks software will allow the metal shop's multiple welding machines the ability to communicate with each other. Utilizing a single part file and sharing a common interface with the SolidWorks program that is currently in place, the CAMworks software will provide current and future machinists an ideal path for converting 3D CAD solid models into CNC machined parts. This software with also assist the students with the required criteria of earning their Department of Labor and NCCER certifications.
