THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATION AND ACQUISITION PLANNING PURPOSES. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND A FORMAL SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE AN RFQ, CONTRACT, OR ORDER. Any contractor who wishes to identify their interests and capability to provide this product must provide product specifications, performance, and delivery information by notifying the Contract Specialist no later than 12 May 2021 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. Notification shall be e-mailed to brandon.costa@us.af.mil. Please provide your company's business size, CAGE Code, if you are capable of meeting this requirement. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, materials, vehicles, and equipment necessary to complete refurbishment and upgrade of an existing Paint & Mixing Booth at Joint Base Charleston, SC. Refurbishment and upgrades are to include: Demo and Removal of the following existing equipment: • 1 each Mercury Air Make-up unit and Control Panel. Existing 460 3-phase electric and natural gas hookups and ductwork shall be saved for installation of new equipment. • 4 each 30” 1000-CFM Tube Axial Exhaust Fans and Motors. Existing electric hookups and ventilation ductwork and stacks shall be saved for installation of new equipment. • 42 each Fluorescent Light Assemblies. Existing electric hookups shall be saved for installation of new equipment. Purchase and Installation of the following equipment: • 1 each Direct Fired Natural Gas, 3 MBTU, 140F degree cure temperature, VAV, Vertical Outdoor Side Discharge AMU with VFD and Auto Balance, rated at 40000-CFM with 30HP motor at 3/4 SP and Mounting Stand. Unit shall tie into legacy ductwork, natural gas and electrical hookups. • 1 each PLC-based Control Panel System with Touch Screen and Standard Features to include Easy Pop up Screens for Setting Temperatures and Batch Cycle Times, Digital display of Set Point Temperature, Current Process Temperature, Batch set time, and Time remaining. Panel shall use existing electrical hookups. • 4 each Roof Mounted 30” Tube Axial Fans with 5 HP TEFC Motors at 3/4” SP. Each fan rated at 10000-CFM, for a total CFM design of 40000-CFM. Fans shall use existing ductwork and electrical hookups. • 42 each LED four Tube Light Fixtures with T8 LED Lamps, providing 5000k color temperature, 2100 lumens brightness and wattage of 14 watts/tube. Existing electrical wiring shall be used. • 4 each Door Limit Switches, to shut down painting when equipment doors are opened (time delay is standard on personnel access doors). Time delay relay allows access to the booth without stopping operations. The standard limit switch is Class I, Division 2 listed. Door limit switches are required when an Auto-Balance System is included in the design. New electrical and monitoring wiring will be run by contractor • 1 each 36”W x 84”H Straight Thru Air Shower with Metal Framed HEPA filters, Touch Screen Controller and Door Sweeps. New 208 V 60 Hz service wiring will be run for this equipment by contractor. • All necessary assembly hardware shall be provided by contractor, including all required bolts, nuts and caulking for a complete mechanical assembly.
