The United States Air Force is soliciting quotes for forestry services on lands within Joint Base Charleston's administrative boundaries in the state of South Carolina. Herbicide application must start during the month of September 2021, but last no later than 01 November 2021 or first hard frost. Tree planting must occur anytime between 15 November 2021 and 31 January 2022. The government is aware of the lead time required for obtaining/growing seedlings. This is a one-time tract specific service. Please review the SOW's for both the Herbicide and Reforestation, their respective maps, and view the attached combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items and services for instructions on how to submit a quote. A site visit will be held at 8:00 AM EST on Wednesday 08 September 2021. We will meet at the Natural Resources Office in Goose Creek, SC 29445. Directions to the office are attached. This will be for any vendor wanting to see the site. All questions must be received by 10 September 2021 no later than 12:00 PM EST, responses will be posted to this solicitation by 13 September 2021 at 4:30 PM EST.
