This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is for Market Research purposes only. The information submitted in response to the Sources Sought Notice will not be utilized to determine vendor standing in any future/potential Request for Quote/Request for Proposal, nor will it be utilized to determine if a vendor is qualified to submit a Request for Quote/Request for Proposal for any future/potential requirement. The notice and the information received shall not be used to determine how well respondents can perform a requirement, which can only be evaluated in response to a solicitation. Vendors will not receive formal notification or feedback on any information submitted in this Sources Sought request. Large and Small Businesses are invited to answer this market survey to determine market capabilities. Hurlburt Field, FL, is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide and install Swimex hot and cold plunge pools at Hurlburt Field, FL. (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL IAW FAR PROVISION 52.211-6) CLIN QTY DESCRIPTION 0001 2 Cold Plunge Pool: Medium Plunge Pool 7'9" x9' x 3'6" Water Depth, Split Suctions, Entry Rails, Floating thermal Blanket. Standard chiller with filtration MT-1SC, ¾ Hp Filtration Pump, 200 Sq Ft Cartridge Filter. Split Tank, Exterior Spray Foam Insulation, Product submittals for contractor, Add Cold sm/ med jets. All of these components are necessary to have an operational pool. Without a single component the pool would no operate properly and therefore there is no point in ordering part of this quote. Each component is vital to have an operational final product. Hot Plunge Pool: Medium Plunge Pool 7'9"x9'x3'6" water depth, split suctions, entry rails, floating thermal blanket. Hot tank equipment pkg sm&med., Includes ¾ Hp Filtration Pump, 200 Sq. Ft Cartridge Filer, One 2 Hp Jet pumps and controls, 8 jets , 5.5 kw electric heater., split tank, massage wand with pump, poduct submittals for contractor. All of these components are necessary to have an operational pool. Without a single component the pool would no operate properly and therefore there is no point in ordering part of this quote. Each component is vital to have an operational final product. One (1) Hot and one (1) Cold Jetted Plunge Pools that can fit 6-8 persons at a time minimum. These pools must fit through a doorway that is 71" wide and 83" tall. •· Electrical data, if any: The total amperage requirements vary from 60 to 120 amps, depending on the number of pumps and electrical equipment installed. A sub-panel should be located in the equipment area. One emergency cut-off switch is required for all equipment. All railings and equipment must be bonded together by an un-insulated, #8 copper wire. One continuous, green #8 wire must be installed from the main panel to pool junction box. All equipment runs off 208-230 V single phase (Additional voltages available). A licensed electrician should complete this work with a helper in 6 to 8 hours. Heater: Wire the heater, to a 240 Volt AC, 60-Hz-single phase power using a 30 amp, 2 pole GFI breaker. For gas units, use a 15 amp, 2 pole GFI breaker. If you only have 208V an 8 KW electric heater is available and will increase the breaker size to a 50Amp GFCI. Filtration Pump: Wire the ¾ HP filtration pump to a 208-240 Volt AC, 60- Hz-single phase power using a 15 amp, 2 pole GFI breaker. This unit must be properly grounded. Refer to manufacturer's instructions included with this unit. Filtration pump is designed to operate 24 hours per day 7 days per week and should be shut off by the breaker or disconnect. Jet pump: Each unit is equipped with a 2 HP Jet pump which is controlled by an ASV Combo timed switch. The pump should be wired 208-240V, 60 Hz 1 phase, 15 Amp, GFCI breaker. In the line between the breaker and the pump you will install the ASV Combo timed switch Chiller Options for Cold Plunge Pool: Standard: Air Cooled chiller with remote condenser. Cold plunge units come standard with a MT-1 SC chiller and condenser. The chiller is powered via a 24V line (18/3 wire) that is taken off the remote condenser and run to the chiller location. The chiller condenser is 208-240V, 1 Phase, 15 Amp circuit to the chiller condenser location. Optional water cooled Chiller Provide a 208-240V 1 phase, 25 Amp circuit to the equipment space. •· Dimensions, in terms of minimum or maximums: Must fit in a 16ft x 25ft room with space for decking and keeping storage for a small ice machine and washer/dryer in the room. Must fit through a doorway that is 71" wide and 83" tall. •· Principles of operation: Necessary equipment for recovery and rehabilitation. •· Restrictive or significant environmental conditions: Must be in a room with plumbing and drains, flat surface, ventilation, and electrical capabilities. •· Essential operating conditions: Must be in a room with plumbing and drains, flat surface, and ventilation. •· Specials features: Must have jets as they optimize the use of the pools. •· Intended use: Recovery and rehabilitation for operators to return to or maintain "green status" (i.e., operationally ready and capable). •· Operation to be performed: Recovery, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. •· Equipment with which the item is to be used: All components of these pools must have all necessary pieces to be operational and safe. It will also need to be above ground with decking. 4.
