A component of the 1st Special Operations Wing has an urgent and compelling need to procure the Chimera Group-1 sUAS system and its associated training. This sole-source approach is necessary due to an accelerated operational timeline, the existence of a trained initial cadre certified specifically on this system, and because Oak Grove Technologies is the only authorized provider. The government's established IDIQ contract with the company cannot be used for this procurement as it is scoped for services only.
