The Unites States Government desires to procure base supply operations support services at Hurlburt Field, FL. The U.S. Government requests potential intersted parties identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. This action will be set-aside for eligible 8(a) participants. This notice is used solely for information and planning purposes- it does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issues and RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought synopsis. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, IFB, or RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government wide Point of Entry (GPE). It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the GPE for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The GPE is located at https://sam.gov. BACKGROUND: A need is anticipated for base operations support services at Hurlburt Field, Florida.The services outlined encompasses the following areas of performance: The contractor shall provide all non-personal services to include personnel, equipment, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Base Supply Services at Hurlburt Field, Florida.This includes Quality Assurance Career Fields for QA evaluated work centers, Inventory, Document Control, Hazardous Materials (HAZMART) Pharmacy, and Delivery sections of the 1st Special Operations.The contractor shall perform the required support at 1 SOLRS located at various locations at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Cods (NAICS) for this requirement is 561210 and the size standard is $47M. Qualified companies are encouraged to respond. Responses should provide the following information to this sources sought announcement: Business Name and Address Name of Company Rep and Business Title Details and Experience of performing these types of services Business size as it relates to the NAICS Contract Types typically used for these types of services Other Contract Vehicles that would be available to the Government for the procurement of these services, to include General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule; and/or any other Department of Defense contracts. PROCEDURES: This sources sought is a required component of a complete and systematic process to evaluate interest parties in order to minimize cost both to potentially interested parties and the Government. Interest sources are also encouraged to submit product literature in response. The Government’s evaluation of the capability statements received will factor into whether any forthcoming solicitation will be conducted thereafter. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon responses hereto for any subsequent acquisition. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort. Any submission of such product literature or catalog cut sheets will be treated separate from, and will have no bearing on, any subsequent evaluation of proposals submitted in response to any resulting future formal Request for Proposal. Funding for this requirement is "Subject to the Availability of Funding" per FAR 52.232-18. Responses must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM (Central Standard Time), September 13, 2024 via email.
