Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (Oct 1997) (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. (b) Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) This solicitation is issued for the purpose of: market interest and company capabilities. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Salient Characteristics are attached for you to guage your capabilites to fulfill this requirement* All information must be submitted by email to logan.guenthardt.1@us.af.mil by 26 March 2024 at 2pm CST. EMAIL SUBJECT MUST REFERENCE THE PROJECT NAME ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This sources sought is issued solely for information purposes and does not constitute solicitation or a commitment or obligation on the part of the government to issue a solicitation. Please submit a quote in response to this notice. Any information provided by industry to the government as a result of this notice is voluntary. The government will not pay for any information submitted to this notice. The Air Force has not made a commitment to procure any of these items discussed, and release of this sources sought should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions become U.S. Government property and will not be returned.
