The building shall be conditioned via a variable air volume air handling units supplying variable air volume boxes with electric reheat as required. The building level HVAC system controls shall be Direct Digital Controls (DDC). The projected time allotted for work completion is 300 calendar days. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning, with a size standard of $16.5M. This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. Additionally, FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs, will be utilized. It is anticipated that this requirement will be 100% set aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Estimated magnitude for the total project is between $1M and $5M. Bid bonds will be required with the proposal. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award. The work is required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron.
