Requests for solicitation will receive no response. This Sources Sought notice is published for market research purposes only. This market survey is conducted to identify potential 8(a) sources capable of meeting the requirements for providing Mess Attendant services at Hurlburt Field, Florida. A draft Performance Work Statement is included to provide respondents a better understanding of the needs of Hurlburt Field and the respondent's potential ability to meet the Government's requirements. An updated version of the specifications will be published along with the solicitation at a later date. DETAILS: All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a Department of Defense contract. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 722310 and the small business size standard is $41.5M. Prospective contractors are cautioned to ensure that the proper NAICS code appears in their SAM record. This acquisition will be set-aside strictly for 8(a) small business concerns. Contractors responding to this notice shall confirm that they are an (a) small business and identify their participation in any small business socioeconomic contracting program(s). All interested contractors shall submit a capabilities package up to a maximum of five pages. The capabilities package shall be concise while clearly demonstrating an ability to meet the stated requirements. Include the following in your capabilities package: Company Name Address Point of Contact Telephone number E-Mail Address CAGE Code Web Page URL (if available) and Small business size certification if applicable Brief summary of relevant projects Please submit one electronic copy of your response to kathryn.kester@us.af.mil no later than 2 December 2020 at 2:00PM (Local – Central Standard Time). Please note that some emails may be blocked; therefore, follow-up via telephone at (850) 884-3268 is strongly recommended to ensure receipt of your submission by the Government, if receipt has not already acknowledged. CONCLUSION: The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal, nor does this issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or part any industry input as a result of this announcement. If the Government decides to award a contract for this effort, a solicitation will be issued at a later date.
