*** Amendment 2 is published to cancel the solicitiation in its entirety. This project was solicited "Subject to the Availability of Funding". Funds were not obtained prior to 30 Sep 2021 therefore the solicitation will be canceled. **Amendment 1 is added to extend the proposal due date and update attachments. Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. This acquisition will be set aside for Small Business Offeror's only. However, if determined advantageous to the Government, this acquisition will be set-aside to a small business under the socioeconomic contracting programs. Repair/Interior Renovation, Bldg. 90131, 2SOS - Provide new second floor space, demo existing slab, install new foundation system for second floor framing. Provide new breezeway exiting 2nd floor and routed at the exterior. Provide a new exterior located elevator shaft. Remove existing hoist system and associated columns. Demolition of existing toilet rooms. Construct interior second floor. Provide new toilet rooms with showers. Demo existing fire sprinkler system. Install a new wet pipe automatic fire sprinkler in renovated area to connect to the existing wet pipe sprinkler system. Demo existing fire alarm/mass notification devices in renovation area. Wire new devices to a new FA and existing MNS. Upgrade existing fire panel to Notifier NFS-640. Provide new fixtures including water closets, urinal, lavatories, sinks, showers, and water coolers. Install gas hot water heater. Remove two oil/water separators. Install sump pump and alarm for elevator. Demo existing HVAC equipment and piping in renovation area. Install new variable air volume chilled water air handler with multiple VAV boxes and hot water reheat coils. Install new air cooled chiller. Provide two new chilled water pumps. Replace AHU-X. Install new panelboards. Remove existing communications cabling and conduit and install new Cat 6 cabling, conduit, and cable trays. Install two new 4 inch conduits from existing handholes to existing communications room. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, supervision and equipment to perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work in accordance with Project CP1032233, Repair/Interior Renovation, Bldg. 90131, 2SOS, Drawings dated 30 July 2020 and Specifications dated 30 July 2020. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5M. This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Performance period is 400 calendar days. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Estimated magnitude for the total project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bid bonds will be required with the proposal. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award.
