This project is being solicited under AFFARS MP5332.7. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Addition to 24 SOW HQ Building - The work includes minor demolition and new construction for an addition to the 24 SOW HQ Building 90310. The addition is a one story, slab on grade structure with masonry walls and metal roof trusses. The building will have EIFS finish, scored and split-face CMU and standing seam metal roof to match existing. Interior finishes include painted gypsum board, carpet tile and walk off mats to match existing building. Site-work includes relocating a picnic shelter and rerouting water line and sidewalks. Work includes mechanical and expansion of existing fire sprinkler, electrical and communication systems. The Government intends to solicit this acquisition as a Women Owned Small Business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5M. This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15, Negotiated Procedures. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Performance period is 300 calendar days. The contract will be a single award, Firm- Fixed-Price type contract. Estimated magnitude for the total project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Bid bonds will be required with the proposal. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award. The work is required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: https://beta.sam.gov. Addendum # 1 Summary of changes - Addendum 1 incorporates the following changes resulting from Site Visit Questions and Responses: a. Replace Attachment 1: Specifications dated 30 Mar 20 with revised Specifications dated 1 July 20 (See Q&A's for details on areas revised). b. Add attachment 7: revised drawing E-001 (See Q&A's for details on drawing revision). c. Add attachment 8: Sixteen (16) Site Visit Questions and Answers dated 8 July 2020. d. Extend proposal due dates from 13 July 2020 to 21 July 2020.
