* THE PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT 0002 IS: To incorporate Attachment 7 Photometric Drawing and Attachment 8 Site Visit Questions and Answers. Proposal Due Date remains unchanged. * THE PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT 0001 IS: To incorporate the following changes to Sections L and Sections M of the solicitation. Section L paragraph 3.1.2 is amended to reflect changes to Superintendent qualifications. Section M paragraph 3.3.1 is amended to reflect changes to evaluation of Superintendent qualifications. Section M paragraph 4.1 Evaluation Process has been updated to clarify evaluation of offerors and best value tradeoff between past performance and total evaluated price. Contract Specialist assigned has been amended to reflect change from Trenton Taylor to John Howard john.howard.49@us.af.mil (850)884-2756. * Addition of Pre-Bid Site Visit Sign-in sheet and meeting notes from 24 June 2020. Questions to be submitted in writing NLT 1 July 2020 close of business. See solicitation for details. This project is being solicited under AFFARS MP5332.7. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. This synopsis is for the Replace Munitions Storage Area (MSA) Lighting contract for 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field, FL. The work includes replacing the street and perimeter security lights and incidental related work. The Government intends to solicit this acquisition as Total Small Business (SB) set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238210 with a size standard of $16.5M. This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15, Negotiated Procedures. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Performance period is 180 calendar days. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Estimated magnitude for the total project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Bid bonds will be required with the proposal. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award. The work is required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
