This synopsis is notification of the 375th Contracting Squadron, Scott AFB, IL, intent to award a contract for Vertical Transportation Equipment Maintenance, Repair and Inspection Services. It is our intent to award a base year plus four option years. Start date of the service will be 01 October 2021, subject to availability of funds. A solicitation will be posted on sam.gov on or around 7 July 2021. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-07, effective 08-03-2020 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) DPN 20200605 Edition. AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, applies and is available at acquisition.gov. This acquisition will be solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors. The SBA size standard is $16.5 million. The solicitation will be available at sam.gov. Potential offerors MUST register at sam.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. If potential offerors encounter issues with downloading the solicitation package, please notify one of the personnel identified below. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
