Please advise? A: The highlighted areas in your drawing are interior lighting fixtures and high-mounted sliding windows. Q: How would we access the slab where the building w/b placed? Tyler Street or through warehouse??? If through Tyler St., is there a sidewalk and grass. This is to inquire how equipment will work? A: You will need to come at it from Tyler street, and there is grass and sidewalk between the concrete pad and the street. However the contractor gets it into place, the sidewalk cannot be damaged and the grass should be minimally disturbed. Q: Bathroom drawing does not show ADA. So this will NOT be an ADA Restroom? A: This restroom container does not need to be ADA compliant (the restrooms inside B3189 already will be). Amendment 2: Q and A 29 April 2020 Q: When is this quote due by? A: We prefer that you send back the filled out COMBO Document, but if you have more information and or pictures or statement of work etc, then please send that in addition to the COMBO doc found on Beta SAM Q: Can we deliver the product prior to May30th? A: The product can be delivered earlier! but must coordinate with end user to ensure no interference with current construction contractors on the site. Q: Is this a skid type unit that would sit on the ground? A: Yes, this will sit on a concrete slab Q: I see three “plumbing ports” on the drawing. Are these for direct hookup to a sewer system? Is a waste storage tank required? A: These are direct hookups and a water tank is not required (tankless water heater functionality) Q: Are there adequate electrical and fresh water sources at the installation location? Are full flushing toilets and urinals required? A: The water and electrical should be adequate (there used to be a similar restroom unit at this spot). Fully flushing toilets and urinals are required Q: It is difficult to read, but what is the size and title of the “clean space” in the back corner of the men’s restroom? What is it used for? A: The clear space is clearance for the electrical panel Amendment 1: Question- "I am curious as to the remittance/payment policy as applicable to this SAM's posting." The 375th Contracting Squadron, Scott Air Force Base, IL is seeking to award for an external restroom unit measuring 40 feet long in accordance with the below specification and Attachment 1 Diagrams. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing; Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 5410, Prefabricated and Portable Buildings, and the business size is 750 Employees. Delivery of unit must be on or before 30 May 2020. This is a commercial purchase using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13 procedures. The following information, as required per FAR 12.603(c)(2) applies: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See below for description of product and delivery. 1 LOT GRAND TOTAL $ (vi) Description of requirements: The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials and equipment to deliver and put into place one (1) 40’ (forty foot) long by 8’ (eight feet) wide, dual-gender, climate-controlled restroom container at the requested location on the Northwest side of Building 3189 at Scott AFB, IL as shown in Attachment 1 Diagrams. The contractor shall deliver the restroom container via a flat-bed truck, and transfer the container from the truck to the destination concrete-pad. The Contractor will be responsible for putting the unit into place without the use of a crane. The contractor shall not be responsible for connecting the restroom container to the adjacent water, drainage, and electrical connections. Site layout is displayed in Attachment 1 Diagrams. Restroom container shall: • Be dual gender with both urinals and stalls for males, sinks, and GFI electrical outlets as exampled in Attachment 1 Diagrams. • Have internal HVAC (heating, ventilation, and cooling) • Be able to mate to the adjacent power, water, and drainage connections (customer will handle PVC and electrical hook ups) • Have an exterior paint color approx. matching the tan-siding of B3189 • Have low-sheen ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EDPM) roof, colored white. • Feature interior with RFP walls and ceiling • Feature exit signage and emergency lighting and outdoor security lighting • Be installed with entry-doors facing Tyler St • Be installed without interference to other contractors renovating B3189 – schedule will be pre-coordinated with the 375th CES to de-conflict work in the area The contractor shall abide by Scott AFB, local, county, state and federal laws under this contract. The Contractor shall use innovative industry/commercial standards/procedures and equipment to minimize the expenditure or time and funds while ensuring the highest of quality work.
