Purchase of External Restroom Container for B3189 Scott AFB, IL 30 March 2020 This is a request for information only. This is not a request for quote/proposal and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The United States Air Force, 375th Contracting Squadron, Scott Air Force Base, IL is seeking sources to provide one (1) forty foot (40’), dual-gender, climate controlled restroom container (see figure 1 and figure 2 below. Scott Air Force Base is conducting market research to determine the availability of businesses capable of providing the product. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing; Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 5410, Prefabricated and Portable Buildings; and the business size is 750 Employees. WHEN RESPONDING TO THE SOURCES SOUGHT, PLEASE PROVIDE AN ANSWER TO THE FOLLOWING: If the use of a crane is NOT permitted, how do you intend to install the restroom container? Please identify how this will be done with your response. Description of Product The Contractor is required to provide the necessary labor, materials and equipment to deliver and put into place one (1) 40’ (forty foot), dual-gender, climate-controlled restroom container at the requested location on the Northwest side of Building 3189 at Scott AFB, IL as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2. The contractor shall deliver the restroom container via a flat-bed truck, and transfer the container from the truck to the destination concrete-pad via a crane rated for a 12,000 lb. load (both provided and operated by the contractor). The contractor shall not be responsible for connecting the restroom container to the adjacent water, drainage, and electrical connections. Site layout is displayed in Figure 3. Restroom container shall: Be dual gender with both urinals and stalls for males, sinks, and GFI electrical outlets as exampled in Figure 4. Have internal HVAC (heating, ventilation, and cooling) Be able to mate to the adjacent power, water, and drainage connections (customer will handle PVC and electrical hook ups) Have an exterior paint color approx. matching the tan-siding of B3189 Have low-sheen ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EDPM) roof, colored white. Feature interior with RFP walls and ceiling Feature exit signage and emergency lighting and outdoor security lighting Be installed with entry-doors facing Tyler St Be installed without interference to other contractors renovating B3189 – schedule will be pre-coordinated with the 375th CES to de-conflict work in the area The Contractor is required to abide by Scott AFB, local, county, state and federal laws under this contract. The Contractor shall provide personnel, tools, supplies, transportation and equipment necessary to accomplish requirements under this contract. Qualifications Vendor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). If your SAM does not have NAICS 332311 associated, suggest you add NAICS Code 332311 to “Reps & Certs” in SAM. If not included in reps and certs, verification of size standard may be required via email. Contract Type 375th Contracting Squadron is anticipating a firm fixed price contract.
