Sources Sought AIRCRAFT RESTORATION AND REPAIR SERVICES SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, IL This is a request for information only. This is not a request for quote/proposal and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The United States Air Force, 375 Contracting Squadron, Scott Air Force Base, IL is seeking sources to provide Aircraft Restoration and Repair Services. Scott Air Force Base is conducting market research to determine the availability of businesses with qualified vendors capable of providing this service to the static aircraft located at Scott Air Force Base. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238320 and the business size is $15M. Description of Service The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts and labor necessary to strip, repair, prep, and repaint the KC-135 and repaint the nose cone of the C-9 and C-141 static aircraft located at Scott AFB, IL in accordnace with the attatched Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor is responsible for the all damage done to the premises, building, or items by any equipment or personnel. The contractor will also be responsible to secure all equipment when not in use or at the close of each business day. The contractor will notify the Airpark HPC or the 375th OG command section when the airpark is unsafe for visitors and an update will be provided when visits can resume. Performance Requirements The performance must in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations and other applicable standards and codes. The contractor will assume total responsibility for the equipment identified in the contract to include protecting the equipment from the elements during contract performance. Contractor must be able to obtain base access in order to complete project. Qualifications Contractor must be licensed and insured to perform the work contained herein and in the attached SOW. Contract Type 375 Contracting Squadron is anticipating a performance based, firm fixed price contract.
