SOURCES SOUGHT HOOD & DUCT MAINTENANCE SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, IL 15 AUGUST 2019 This acquisition is for a Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 service. Currently, funds are not available. The government may cancel this requirement at any time if funds do not become available. If funds become available, the government intends to issue an award to the responsible offeror who provided an offer meeting the requirements of the acquisition. Award will be contingent upon the availability of FY2020 funds. This is a request for information only. This is not a request for quote/offer and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The United States Air Force, 375 Contracting Squadron, Scott Air Force Base, IL is seeking sources to clean hoods, grease removal devices, fans, ducts and other appurtenances. Scott Air Force Base is conducting market research to determine the availability of businesses capable of cleaning hoods, grease removal devices, fans, ducts and other appurtenances at buildings located at Scott Air Force Base. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561790; Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings, and Product Service Code (PSC) is S201; Housekeeping - Custodial Janitorial. The small business size standard is $7.5 Million. Anticipated Period of Performance: 01 October 2019 - 30 September 2020. Description of Service Contractor will furnish all materials, supplies, equipment and transportation needed to clean hood and exhaust systems. The contractor will remove all accumulated grease, dust, lint and dirt from the hood, duct, fans and equipment. Utilization of flammable solvents or other flammable cleaning aids shall not be used. . Contractor will provide before and after cleaning photos for each hood cleaned to help identify hood/duct cleanliness and deficiencies. All work performed shall meet and be in compliance with NFPA 96, 2014 Edition standards. Cleaning schedules will be arranged so there is a plus or minus 15-day leeway from the last date cleaned for bi-monthly and quarterly cleanings within the scheduled cleaning month. This will ensure short and excess times between cleanings are not an issue. Attached is the intended Statement of Work (SOW). Qualifications • Vendor shall have the experience and capability to perform Hood and Duct Maintenance • Vendor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). • If your current SAM reps and certs does not reflect NAICS 561790, it is suggested you add NAICS code 561790 to your "Reps & Certs" in SAM. If NAICS 561790 is not added or not included in your reps and certs, the offeror may be required to verify company's size standard for NAICS code 561790 via email. Contract Type 375 Contracting Squadron is anticipating a firm fixed price contract with a one-year performance period.
